Victoria’s Secret has announced this year’s musical lineup for its fashion show and it’s going to be a solid group. Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd will be joining the Angels, including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, in Paris, where the show will be taped Nov. 30.
Lady Gaga is one-third of the group who will perform for the Angels and the crowd attending. Her fourth full-length studio Joanne was released Oct. 21 and it opened with immense numbers in today’s industry standards. Along with Gaga, The Weeknd will also perform for a second time on the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” as he’s gearing up to release his latest studio effort on Nov. 25. Starboy will be released by XO/Republic and will be followed up by a North American tour in 2017 beginning April 25.
Bruno Mars will also be performing at the fashion show. His album 24K Magic will be released Nov. 18, two days before the taping. Bruno released the title-track as the lead single and it debuted at No.5 on the Hot 100 and was his first solo single. He will also perform for the first time on the American Music Awards which airs on Nov. 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
New Victoria’s Secret Angel Jasmine Tookes will be sporting the Bright Night Fantasy Bra which is worth $3 million of gemstones that include diamonds and emeralds. It contains 9,000 stones having 450 carats and took 700 hours to complete. Along with Tookes, The Weeknd’s girlfriend Bella Hadid will also make her debut on the runway. The airing of the fashion show will be Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. on CBS stations.
